Note: With the release of Logic Pro v10.7, Logic now supports a fully-integrated Dolby Atmos workflow. For more information on the new features and how to use the new Dolby Atmos tools within Logic, check out the new Quick Start video and the Logic Pro section of the Knowledge Base.

There are a few steps required to set up Logic Pro for working in Dolby Atmos using the Dolby Atmos Music Panner and Dolby Atmos Renderer.

If you have never mixed in Dolby Atmos before, ensure that the Dolby Atmos Renderer and the Dolby Audio Bridge are installed on your system.

In Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio:
            -Set the Input Device to your preferred input device
            -Set the Output Device to Dolby Audio Bridge
            -Set the I/O Buffer Size to 1024
            -Click Apply

When creating a new Dolby Atmos project, ensure that the frame rate and sample rate of the project match the Dolby Atmos Renderer.
