'no mountable file system' on mac when trying to mount dmg file "dolby_atmos_renderer-3.5.0-5571823"
yes, I have checked in other mac systems and also downloaded the dmg file from different browser, but still the same. I've also tried opening it from terminal.

    Hi There,

Where are you downloading the file from? What are the specs of your machine (model, hardware, OS)? Are you able to open other DMG files on the machine?

Hi, Can you also verify that you are trying to run the installer from the local downloads folder and not from attached network storage? Thanks, Adam

    sorry for the late reply!
@BennettS (Dolby Labs) hey, I'm downloading from " https://developer.dolby.com/tools-media/production-tools/dolby-atmos-production-tools/ ". I'm running a Hackintosh with Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan), 16 GB ram, 3.19 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor. yeah, I'm able to open other DMG files on my machine. I tried opening the dmg file from another mac machine (friend's), still the same error.
@AdamP (Dolby Labs) I'm running the installer from local storage :)

Have you tried downloading the installer using a different browser/machine?
  • Rupendar (Mix Magic Studios)

@BennettS (Dolby Labs)  yes, I have. Still the same result.

Double check file permissions and try repairing the dmg in disk utility. Given that you are running a Hackintosh using El Capitan and this is a stable dmg that works for other users, the issue seems to be with your machine/download.
