Checking MP4 On iOS 15 no longer working.
So, I used to be able to export an mp4 from the renderer and check on my phone and airpods. With iOS 15 mp4 no longer plays back as true spatial audio, just the god awful spatial stereo thing apple is doing. What can we do?

    Hello!

You still hear the MP4 with spatial audio on iOS 15. maybe your issue is with the added headtracking?
You can turn off headtracking by going to your iPhone settings, Accessibility-> AirPods

Unfortunately this is not true for me. When I hold my finger on the volume control on iphone, the mp4 says its playing back stereo. My only option is to turn on the "spatial stereo" or "spatial stereo with head tracking". @ Apple music seems to playback atmos just fine. See attached image.

I should add, this same mp4 plays back as 5.1 in my studio on my computer, which is normal.

I think I got it. I'll leave this here for anyone else looking for an answer. You have to make the file available offline in DB for atmos playback to work on iOS 15. If you stream, it will default to stereo. This was not the case on iOS 14.

I'm not a macOS user, but I assume Box Drive?

    Got it.
    Thank you.
