Renderer Remote unable to access files/create a master file
Hi,
we just upgraded to the v3.7 Renderer and Remote. We have the Dell RMU and remote on a Mac(OS 10.14).
I see the Renderer and am connected to it through the remote, I get transport control and all other settings.
The issue is being unable to access any directories, create a master file or even open a recent file.
I am able to create, record, and open master files on the Renderer direct but not through the Remote. Also if I set Record In/out points, the master file doesn't get finalized/created. I have to manually stop playback on PT to finalize the master file.
The Renderer is on external sync with LTC.
Please advise.

      So the external Renderer and Binaural Plugin can stay at 3.7.1?

        Yes. If you didn't unselect it when you installed 3.7.1 then Binaural Settings Plugin v1.1.1 would have been installed. That's the version in the installer of 3.7.1

        Downgraded just the DAW to Render Remote 3.7.0 and everything works great. Thanks!

    Thanks for the reply Fin.

    Is there a way to get the installers for 3.7.0? We had upgraded straight from 3.5.
    In regards to the other issue, I may have not been clear, the transport does stop when the playback finishes at the end of a selection/record out TC but it doesn't finalize.
    When I record without a selection or in/out TC, the master file gets created.
    Maybe I'm missing something here?
    Appreciate the help.

    Hi, Sorry to jump in here. You will need to get v3.7 from your Mastering Suite reseller as our software distribution system doesn't allow for previous versions unfortunately. If using record in/out points the transport still from DAW still needs to stop for the master to finalize. Does the Renderer display a status of finalizing when the transport is stopped or nothing at all? Best, Adam

    And me again, just one other quick question. If transport is stopped sometime after a punch in/out and the Renderer does not display finalising in the bottom left corner, what happens when you close the master file?

      So weird enough, I am not facing the issue in a new session
      But to explain what I encountered before, I set a record in/out and set the same selection in DAW, and started playback. When playback stops automatically at the end of the selection in DAW, the renderer doesn't change any status, does not display finalizing, doesn't even drop out of record(rec arm button is still lit). When I close the master file, it was never created in the directories. I did this multiple no of times the previous day while recording the master. I finally stopped setting a selection in DAW and just run playback and stopped the transport manually and it finalized.

      I have tried replicating it today but it's working fine, can't figure out what I'm missing.

    Very strange. If it ever happens again, please feel free to post exact steps to reproduce here
