Dolby Atmos HTML5 Playback in Microsoft Edge
Is the DD+JOC Dolby Atmos playback support in Microsoft Edge browser meant activate Dolby Access on the computers audio output or is the playback decoded within the browser itself? From the Dolby Atmos players and my own testing it's hard to determine if the playback is simply 5.1 or actually Atmos as there's no indication anywhere and Dolby Access certainly isn't activated by any Atmos player I've used so far? I've been mostly testing with New York Times Mach1 & Dolby Atmos player code here:
