HTML5 Dolby Atmos Browser Delivery
I'm looking at delivery of a Dolby Atmos content in HTML5 supported browsers such as MS Edge & Apple Safari but seem to be hitting a brick wall in my development of a basic web page player only ever playing DD+

The pages here state MS Edge supports 'Dolby Atmos' which I assume is a DD+JOC.mp4 playback and Apple Safari supports what's been titled 'Dolby Audio' which i'm not sure what that means, but I took it to mean not Atmos, just the DD+ fallback to 5.1 Surround or Apple Spatial perhaps?

Strangely the developer documentation here on preparing audio keeps discussing DD+ Surround and not DD+JOC Atmos, but I'm not sure if that's just because initially developers might not be able to create a DD+JOC.mp4 and so simplifying the process, it's not clear.

On Windows 10, I have Dolby Access active on the headphone output and do receive playback from the DD+JOC in my player but it isn't activating Dolby Atmos for Headphones like I assume it must have to do in order to decode the DD+JOC to Dolby Atmos for Headphones. I assume i'm hearing either just the first 2.0 channels of the 5.1 or probably just a direct 5.1 fold down to 2.0.

Likewise for speaker playback I don't seem to ever receive more than 5.1 Surround from the browser. Admittedly I don't have an Atmos AVR attached to the PC to see if this should pass through over HDMI or not, but if that were the case i'm not sure the point of an HTML5 web player really.

Any advice or details on the Dolby Atmos playback in either Edge or Safari would be greatly appreciated. I note New York Times hnow ave what they call is a Dolby Atmos player, but again I do not receive Dolby Atmos from it only 5.1 / Stereo fold downs, Dolby Access isn't activated.
