How to re-export an existing ADM Master file that includes output control attenuation! Urgent please help :)
Hey guys, this is pretty urgent, and im sorry for what seems to be a basic issue. Im neededing to simply turn my whole master file down a few dB to hit an unsuspected spec that came up last minute, and all of the re-renders need to reflect the change. My thought was that i could import an existing master ADM .atmos file (so that it is unlocked), apply a few dB of attenuation with the output control at the top of the main window, and re-export as a new ADM. When i do this however, and re-import that newly created ADM file, the loudness analyzer in the Renderer shows the same reading that the original ADM file was at. No attenuation was included. I understand there is also a trim control window, but that scares me as it seems to be just for downmix coefficients for 5.1 and 71. Is the only way to do what im trying to do here is to import the ADM back into pro tools, do a fixed gain acros all bed and objet clips, and re-export from there? Thanks so much in advance !!!!
