How to use the "BED" under Edit Window's I/O?
Hi, here are my tool's specifications.
1. Mac Pro (Late 2013)
2. Mac OS Monterey
3. Pro Tools Studio version 2022.12(updated recently)
4. Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 as an audio interface
5. Music Panner - v 1.2.0
6. Renderer 3.7.3
And, my question is;

When I ticked the 7.1.2bed in the I/O's bus tap( attached file1), on the Pro Tool edit window's I/O dropdown menu Bed was shown up as one of the three options(Bed, Output, Bus-attached file2) but I can not choose the Bed even though it's now ticked on Mapping to output and Mapping to the renderer in Setup's I/O menu. How can I use the Bed on the edit window's output dropdown menu?

    Hi,

    From your screengrab of the I/O setup bus page it looks like the 7.1.2 bed is mapped to the Renderer (which will make it show up as a bed in the edit window) but it is not mapped to an output.

    Can you verify that you don't have two 7.1.2 outputs in the I/O setup page outputs. My guess is that you aren't able to map this output as it is already being used by a 7.1.2 output that is not mapped to the Renderer.

    If you want to start from scratch the best way to do so it delete everything in the I/O (outputs) and then pull the I/O config from the Renderer. With the Renderer launched go to input configuration window and set to use default. The from the ProTools I/O setup bus page select UseDolyAtmosRenderer and click Default. You will wind up with the attached which will make the bed a legit selection in the edit window.

    Hope this helps.

    Best,
    Adam
