Mammoth Sound Studio (Mammoth Sound Studio) asked a question.

Dolby Atmos Binaraul mix channels are uneven.
I am testing my configuration, and have got an uneven weighting in the binaural render. In the screenshots you'll see I have a Singal Gen being sent to the side channels, and the balance is even between L&R. The signal is also even in my Galaxy 32 control panel (post renderer) and in the renderer itself, but the binaural render is louder on the L channel. The same happens if I use any other channel, for example, the front L/R. Can anyone advise as to why this is? Am I doing something wrong?

It's correct afaik I don't know why, it must be how the ITD & ILD of the Dolby HRTF works perhaps? Here's off/near/mid/far from Davinci Resolves Binaural Renderer.

So, I was exploring a little further this morning. When I was using a sine wave in the signal gen. this effect was seen. As I changed the sine's frequency, the imbalance adjusted. White pink noise the binaural balance was fine. I'm sure someone will be able to give me the scientific reason! But I'm glad I found an explanation.

Yeah you won't see it once mixing music though it. Many other binaural processing plugin do the same, although not all weirdly.
