CATMOS (No Bother Music) asked a question.
Only getting some of my audio bounced over from PT. Need help with routing renderer and matching up with PT.
Hello. I started a binaural video and orchestral project from scratch in PT. I'm using Bed and 72 objects. When I bounce my mix of stereo, bed and objects including surround reverbs to a .mov in PT I hear only "some" of the audio (including the original sound FX track ) in the bounced movie and none of the objects. I have the Dolby Atmos plugin on the LTC track. I'm sure it's a routing thing somewhere between PT and the Renderer but being new to the whole thing I'm struggling. Would appreciate help.

There are a couple of things going on here. Bouncing to stereo/mov is not a valid Atmos export. If you want to bounce your Atmos mix directly from Pro Tools, you will have to bounce to ADM BWF. You can then open that ADM BWF file in the Renderer to export any downmixes you may want to use.
Additionally, your I/O setup looks very complex, and a number of objects are not routed to the Renderer. I would recommend starting with a simpler project to make sure you understand how exactly audio and metadata are routed between PT and the Renderer. Starting with a project this complex tends to create cascading/nested issues that cannot be fixed easily.
We have a number of lessons and exercises that cover this at learning.dolby.com.

As mentioned above, it seems like the thing you are experiencing issues with is the inability to bounce to a stereo mov file from pro tools, which is not possible. If that is the only issue you are having with the session, then it is just a misunderstanding of the atmos workflow, not something directly wrong with your session. If you are able to export an ADM from pro tools that contains the entirety of your mix, then you do not necessarily need to resolved the errors pro tools is showing. Sometimes there are things in the I/O setup and bus configuration that will throw errors, but if they are not actively being used in the mix then they will not impact your output.
There is so much going on in your session that it is hard to parse what is happening. The screenshots show some potential issues (mapping conflicts, the use of an object bed?) and you are using the binaural settings plug-in, which will be controlling your input configuration. The best option is to remove anything that you are not using
I recommended going through the training because there are exercises in there that cover building I/O configs from scratch that will give you a sense of how and why things are done, as opposed to trying to untangle a complex session where there could be multiple issues happening at the same time. Unfortunately the more complex nature of Atmos can create some challenges with I/O setup and bus mapping, and if you are not understanding why you are seeing errors it can indicate that you should step back and gradually increase the complexity.
