Atmos Object audio doesn't appear in Multichannel Gain plugin, Logic Pro 10.7.8
In Logic Pro Mac 10.7.8 (most recent iteration) when mixing to atmos, I have the Multichannel Gain plugin applied both before and after the Atmos plugin, and I'm not getting any sound out of either multichannel gain plugin. This happens when I have the multitracks converted to objects; however when I leave them as bed tracks the multichannel gain works as it should. Can anyone help me with this?

This is expected behavior. Please see: https://professionalsupport.dolby.com/s/article/Where-Should-I-Insert-Plug-ins-on-the-Master-Channel-Strip-in-Logic-Pro-Using-the-Integrated-Dolby-Atmos-Workflow

I want to make sure the song stays under -18 LUFS. When I have a mix that contains both beds and objects, do I need to monitor 2 separate Loudness Meters, one for the beds (before the Atmos plugin) and one for the objects (after the Atmos plugin)? Sorry if this is a newbie kind of question, but I can't seem to find this out.
No worries. This isn't that intuitive. As the expense of giving you another link, we did do a write up for this here: https://professionalsupport.dolby.com/s/article/How-Should-I-Measure-Loudness-in-Logic-Pro-Using-the-Integrated-Dolby-Atmos-Workflow
In a nutshell Atmos loudness measurement is done from a 5.1 render so all the bed and object audio is included. Making overall gain adjustments can be a bit tricky. We do have the Dolby Atmos Album Assembler that allows for gain, limiting and EQ to applied to Atmos masters. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the Dolby Atmos Renderer but you could get close without monitoring and import the result back into Logic for QC. There are trial versions of both: https://customer.dolby.com/content-creation-and-delivery

You can use VCAs to make global gain adjustments in Logic Pro.

I searched on YouTube and google and can't find anything that addresses this specific issue. I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me a little more guidance. Thank you!
