V5 DAR Binaural meter and output stopped working
I was mixing a project last night and all was fine. Today when launching the DAR and the same Protools session, I noticed that the BIN meter in the Renderer shows nothing and my BIN re-render I have setup is sending nothing. I've not changed any settings. I'm getting the full Atmos mix just as it was last night, but no Binaural meter or Binaural audio. I'm seeing and hearing all the Object and Bed audio and seeing the BIN settings for each object are functioning as they should... just no BIN audio at all. Usullly under the Loudness section of the DAR UI, I'll click back and forth between the Dolby Atmos and Binaural tabs to check loudness, but now I'm getting only loudness numbers for the Atmos, and zero for the BIN since it seams BIN is just not working. Has anyone else seen this and if so, how do I fix it. I use the BIN Re-Render back into a PT channel using AUX-IO to print BIN re-renders and send to clients to listen. Thanks.

I also was just noticing the DAR stopped sending audio out the selected headphone out. To confirm, I did setup in Prefs Spatial encoding is on and that button is lit up blue at the top left of the DAR UI next to the sample rate next to the Monitoring dropdown menu.

Have you verified that the headphone output is enabled in preferences? It is toggled in the outputs section of preferences.

If you are referring to a live binaural re-render, then you will also want to verify that live re-render processing is enabled.

Thank you for the answer. I had all that setup, but it seems a solid shut down and re-boot did the trick. We had it all working prefect, then for some random reason, the DAR just stopped all BIN processing even with all the settings that should make it work were just not working. Thanks again for the response.

Glad it is resolved. If possible, can you send over a zip file of the Renderer logs (Help > Open logs folder)? It will be helpful to see if something shows up in the logs.
