Exporting ADM BWF but only captures beds in the .wav file?
All my objects and beds output just fine through the master file and record properly from Pro Tools into the Renderer.

However when I export the audio as an ADM BWF, I lose all my objects and am left with only signals from the 7.1.2 beds. This is not an issue when I export the audio as an .mp4 file which gives me both the objects and the beds, the same thing I would hear through the Renderer when monitoring. I have no idea what's going on.

Any help/troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

How are you determining that the ADM is missing the objects? Are you opening the exported ADM in the Renderer? it is important to note that the OS cannot correctly play back an ADM from a file browser, and most ways of playing back the ADM are unable to correctly read it, as they simply treat it as a standard .wav file. If you want to validate your ADM, open it in the Renderer or import into Pro Tools as a new session.

  • I am having this same issue. When I export an ADM BWF in realtime the DAW is only playing the beds and not objects. Im assuming that is how the original post was noticing it.

Hi, can you clarify the exact nature of the issue and provide more contextual information? Are you not hearing objects as it is playing back in real-time? Have you tried opening the ADM in Dolby Atmos Renderer application to verify the content?

      What DAW are you using?
