Dolby Atmos Panner keeps crashing Reaper when play is hit
Hi there.
I use Reaper and Dolby Renderer in the same machine.
I cannot put any plugin or any routing operation within Reaper with an instance of Dolby Music Panner inserted in a track of Reaper.
It crashes Reaper straight
I do all without an instancem then I put one, press play it crashes Reaper Immediately.
I tried AU and VST3.
Also VST3 is not working at all, no metadata sent to the Renderer.
Renderer is 5.4.1, Reaper is 7.69, Panner is 1.3

Sorry you are running into this issue. Reaper is not a DAW that we test or support for the Dolby Atmos plug-ins, and there have been some workflow blocking issues for a while now. When we update next update the plug-ins this may resolve some of the issues you are experiencing, but we currently have no plans to add Reaper to the list of supported DAWs. I will respond to this thread when the next update to the plug-ins is released so you can continue experimenting.
In the meantime, I would recommend reaching out to Reaper to let them know you are interested in working in Atmos within Reaper; if they see a demand for Atmos it will increase the likelihood that Reaper may support Atmos in the future.
