And It is true that the blank doesn't appear when I click the down arrow. Just like the Screenshot, there is no response when I click.
I tried on another Laptop which is Windows 10 Home Edition, Excel 2016. And that one could make it perfectly.
And what's more, there's no response either when I type some character in the blank, like the screenshot.

I think the issue is probably the windows version. The DARDT file was created in Office 365 using the latest Excel formulas, which may not be fully supported in older versions of Excel. However, it would be worth checking the Microsoft Excel security controls:
The DARDT workbook is an Excel `.xlsb` file with macros. Due to security settings in Windows and Excel, you may encounter warnings or restrictions when opening it. These are normal and designed to protect your system. Follow the steps below to ensure the file works as intended.
1. “This file came from another computer and might be blocked”
Why it happens: Windows marks files downloaded from the internet or received via email as potentially unsafe.
How to fix it:
• Right-click the DARDT file and select Properties.
• In the General tab, look for the Security section.
• Tick Unblock, then click Apply and OK.
Note: This message only appears in the Windows Properties dialog (right-click → Properties → General tab), not when opening the file in Excel.
2. File opens in Protected View
Why it happens: Excel opens files from untrusted locations in Protected View, disabling editing and macros.
How to fix it:
• Click Enable Editing in the yellow bar at the top of Excel.
3. Macros are disabled
Why it happens: Excel blocks macros from untrusted sources for security reasons.
How to fix it:
• Option A: Enable macros for this session
Click Enable Content in the yellow security bar.
• Option B: Change macro settings (advanced users)
Go to File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings → Macro Settings.
Select Disable all macros with notification (recommended).
Click OK.
4. Add a Trusted Location (recommended for frequent use)
Why it matters: Adding the folder where DARDT is stored as a Trusted Location prevents repeated warnings.
Steps:
• In Excel, go to File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings → Trusted Locations.
• Click Add new location.
• Browse to the folder containing the DARDT file.
• Tick Subfolders of this location are also trusted if needed.
• Click OK.
Important: Only unblock files, enable macros, or add trusted locations for files you trust. Malicious macros can harm your system.
